BEARING REPLACEMENT GUIDE HELPS USERS CONVERT BEARINGS THAT HAVE BEEN WITHDRAWN OR ARE DIFFICULT TO SOURCE.
NSK’s new Bearing Replacement Guide is a comprehensive specification and selection guide, which enables bearing users to convert to NSK, bearings from other manufacturers that are in need of replacement, but have been withdrawn or are unavailable from the original supplier.
The replacement guide includes some of the highest performing industrial and precision bearings available. Its layout and content have been specifically designed to help bearing users, machine re-builders and bearing distributors select the best type of replacement bearings for their applications.
The guide provides replacement part numbers for metric bearings – ball, cylindrical, spherical and angular contact bearings - in bore diameters from 2mm to 220mm, and Imperial sizes from 1/8” bore to 57.15”. It provides simple at-a-glance tabular formats for ease of use, and includes a pivotal section, with accompanying flowchart, providing step-by-step instructions describing how to order replacement bearings.
Extending to 272 pages, the new guide is divided into twelve sections dealing with all aspects of bearing terminology. In addition to interchange part numbers, there are sections regarding bearing types, selection, care and maintenance and inspection and failure types.
One section of the new guide is devoted to NSK’s super precision bearings for machine tool applications This includes the high-speed Robust series bearings, together with data on conventional angular contact bearings, thrust bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, and ball screw support bearings.
