Paper mill obsolete product redesigned
History
A paper mill needed carburized inner ring and brass cage bearings for their dryer section after their existing supplier discontinued their offerings. NSK was commissioned to provide an appropriate replacement product that would also reduce downtime and related costs.
Corrective Measures
NSK provided the TL product line because of its superior performance. This performance combined with improved installation and maintenance practices, gained through NSK's technical training and engineering support, enabled the paper mill to gain an increase in both service life and productive uptime.
