Table guideance for wood processing machines
History
The double row pulley bearings used for table guidance on a wood processing machine required precise running of the rollers with an profiled outer ring and special tolerances for mounting the bearing in the correct position.
Corrective Measures
NSK developed individual tolerances to accommodate the customer’s requirements and specified them for the pulley bearing, which led to the speedy fitting of the roller in the correct position and made it possible to run the machine without any faults.
The system was released for series production within a period of 16 weeks.
