Bevel gearbox for buses
History
A customer was using several individual parts from various manufacturers in bevel gearbox for buses. Complex and often inappropriate installation created poor running characteristics and therefore caused irregular and unplanned downtime.
Corrective Measures
NSK development: individual and customer-specific design of a double row complete assembly which reduced the individual parts.
The prototypes developed by NSK were released for series production during the test phase, lasting 27 weeks.
