HOW MANY YEARS HAVE YOU BEEN WITH NSK?
It is now 7 years: I worked as a secretary in the Industrial Bearings Division for 2 ½ years, & then moved to the Automotive Bearings Division as a Customer Service Representative for another 1 ½ years, and I finally took my current position as Automotive Account Manager 3 years ago.
WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND?
I have a Degree in Foreign Languages and Communication, and have a variety of professional experience, from technical translation to sales in the Tourism industry.
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE AT NSK?
I have the responsibility for sales and development for several customers in the Automotive Business Unit : one French car manufacturer and several Tier1 suppliers in the Automotive industry.
HOW DID YOU ACHIEVE THIS POSITION?
I think this is a combination of hard work and good luck : work because these positions are never gifted (I started with NSK as a secretary), but I was lucky because NSK also gave me the opportunity to change job, get trained and achieve this position.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE NSK?
Maybe NSK chose me rather than the other way round…. Actually, everything I heard about NSK was very positive, and I also had a very good feeling of the company during my job interviews.

A relative of mine was working for the company.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY THE MOST IN YOUR JOB?
The lack of routine : every day is a new challenge, which is very motivating, and I enjoy being in contact with a lot of different people located everywhere in the world. Furthermore, the working atmosphere is very good - I have the feeling of belonging to a big family.
WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE TO NEW EMPLOYEES?
To be convinced that if they do their best in their mission for NSK, the company will recognize their value.

People are very welcoming, in any NSK location that I have visited. They make themselves available whenever necessary, and they usually communicate a strong spirit of involvement for NSK company.
CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE NSK VALUES “SPEED, SERVICE, PASSION AND TEAMWORK”
For me, Speed is part of Service as we need to be reactive to our customers’ requests if we want to serve them well, Service is what can make the difference with competitors and we should always try to improve on this point. Passion is our engine in this difficult environment and Teamwork is essential as we need all departments (Design, Production, Supply, Customer service…) to make it work. NSK is a big company and we need those values to keep a good communication and deliver the best.
