NSKHPS range includes large cylindrical roller bearings
The NSKHPS range, which stands for NSK High Performance Standard, has been expanded to include large precision cylindrical roller bearings with external diameters from 180 to 400mm. Offering double the service life of conventional cylindrical roller bearings, as well as 23% higher load ratings, the new bearings are ideal for use in demanding applications.

NSKHPS bearings are characterised by the use of high cleanliness steel and the application of a special treatment process to the rolling surfaces of the outer ring and cylindrical rollers. It is features such as these that help deliver significantly higher dynamic load ratings and extended service life.

A further advantage of the NSKHPS large cylindrical roller bearings is that they exhibit greater tolerance to angular misalignment errors. In comparison with conventional roller bearings of this type, which can tolerate shaft misalignment of up to 2 arc minutes, the NSKHPS series can operate with misalignment values up to 4 arc minutes. Moreover, the bearings provide customers with increased limiting speed and very high running precision.


For those seeking large cylindrical roller bearings able to meet the demand for drive components offering high performance, high rotational speeds, compact dimensions and long service life, the new NSKHPS series provides the solution. An additional benefit is the low friction afforded by the high quality surface processing, which leads to greater energy efficiency. In many instances, designers can also select a smaller diameter NSKHPS cylindrical roller bearing and thus produce a more compact drive unit.

The NSKHPS programme, which already includes most of the company’s common bearing types, is now practically complete.
