Furnace Fan Motors - NSK Success Stories - Furnace Fan Motors: A textile manufacturing company had experienced repetitive failures at approximately 6 months in air circulation motor-fans used on their fabric furnace. NSK proposed a Deep Groove Ball Bearing type, designed specifically for the use in applications with higher temperatures.  

 

Wood Milling Machine - NSK Industries - Wood Milling Machine: A wood furniture producer faced frequent failures on their wood milling machines. The linear guides on the working tables were being damaged. NSK and the local distributor identified that contamination with fine wood dust and some small particles of sawdust as the root cause.  

 

Centrifugal Pump - NSK Industries - Centrifugal Pump: A large energy producer (electricity + heats) faced frequently failures on their water recirculation centrifugal pumps. NSK jointly with the local distributor performed a bearing failure investigation on site.  

 

Vacuum Pump - NSK Industries - Vacuum Pump: A major manufacturer of silicon wafers for microprocessors experienced a failure on their vacuum pumps which were equipped with NSK bearings. Cotton Yarn Machine - NSK Industries - Cotton Yarn Machine: A cotton yarn machine producer asked NSK for a bearing handling training in terms of proper lubrication. The customer experienced difficulties in lubricating the bearings due to the small gap between the rings and cage.

Belt washer - NSK Industries - Belt washer: A trail with NSK ball bearings Molded-Oil was agreed, which resulted in an increase of bearing life from 3 months to over 12 months
